Keto Diary 1/4/21
Woke at 6:30 when Steve's alarm went off. Laid in bed and played on my phone until 7:30.
Weighed (161lbs), used the bathroom, made a cup of ice water, took vitamins, wrote in my gratitude journal (doubt this habit sticks around very long).
Got dressed, and did a bodyweight workout from Back2Fit (@fit2fat2fit).
8:45AM: Walked the dogs
Took down Christmas decorations.
10:30: Feeling very hungry (fasted since 7PM last night)
10:55 drinking black coffee to try to hold my fast
12:20: Breaking my fast. Ate two Tennessee Pride sausage patties, two whole eggs, some egg whites (didn't measure), and a sprinkling of shredded cheddar (probably 15g, maybe even less). Also had coffee with a serving of International Delights Sugar Free Italian Cream creamer and a scoop of Perfect Keto chocolate base. Need to get some MCT oil for bulletproof coffee. I don't plan to drink BCP for long; just long enough to get me comfortable with fasting.
3:20 Tumeric tea with a serving of heavy whipping cream
5:30 Dinner- @fit2fat2fit's Chicken Chow Mein. The recipe made two servings which I split between me and Steve. I couldn't finish mine. While I was cooking, I reheated and finished my coffee with the Perfect Keto chocolate base in it.
7:00- finished mine.
fasting begins again!
Thoughts on the first day:
Overall, not bad.
Felt a little headachy midday, and felt those urges to eat something sweet or chips or something. Had the coffee and the tumeric tea to help with the cravings and the low energy.
